Beverly’s Full House is about Love. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on the planet. There is no such thing as a perfect parent or child. My hat (or weave) goes off to to my Mom and Dad and to all the Mothers and Fathers out there trying to do the best they can.

As gut wrenching as this process is with my daughter and I, I believe and know its worth it. The flip side of that coin is going through your life with resentments, and suppressed issues that don’t contribute anything positive to oneself or to the universe as a whole.

I have worked most of my adult life with therapists, life coaches, read books and attended seminars all in the quest for self discovery and self improvement.

There is no right or wrong, good or bad, winner or loser in this exchange between Anansa and I. Love doesn’t keep score.

And the shear joy of a Daughter’s hugs, shared laughter, and to be able to look into each other eyes and know we are working towards having each others backs… My friends, this is what it’s all about: Love!
